We're thrilled to announce the winners of our recent quarterly contests! The [Breaking News Tournament](https://www.metaculus.com/tournament/breaking-news/) provided a lively platform for experienced forecasters to make predictions based on world events, and the [Beginner Tournament](https://www.metaculus.com/tournament/beginner-tournament/) welcomed newcomers to the world of forecasting through short-fuse questions that concluded weekly.

We were impressed by the sheer volume of participation and enthusiasm from the Metaculus community, with over 1200 forecasters making a prediction on at least one question in these tournaments!
