The next spot scoring deadline for the US Democracy Threat Index is **July 15**.

If you've made predictions on the index, your forecasts will be scored based on where they stand on that date. So if you haven't updated recently, or haven't predicted yet, now's the time.

The Index tracks questions on threats to US democracy, developed in partnership with Bright Line Watch, a nonpartisan group that monitors the state of American democracy. It's a \$10,000 prize pool tournament, split into two distinct prize pools, one of which is our \$2,500 spot scoring bonus prize, based on cumulative spot scores from your predictions at various snapshots during the tournament.

At the end of the tournament, every prediction that was standing at the time of each snapshot (in this case the July snapshot) will be scored and your scores across snapshots will be summed to determine your share of the bonus prize.
