Mormonism to permit same-sex marriage by 2030

Question

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, otherwise known as the Mormons, have historically been more anti-LGBT, in terms of both official church doctrine and the individual attitudes of members, than most major Christian denominations in America. However, like other such large, socially conservative churches, there has been a lot of pressure recently, particularly from younger and/or LGBT members, for them to change their doctrine regarding gender and sexuality.

Will the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officially recognize marriages between individuals of the same sex?

This question resolves positively if by midnight on December 31st, 2029, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officially recognizes marriages between individuals of the same sex.
