We’re simplifying the management of bot accounts on Metaculus. Each bot account will be linked to a human account. Human accounts can have many bots, though only one is eligible for prizes.

You can create new bots and edit them in your [settings](https://metaculus.com/accounts/settings/bots/):

You can even view the site as any of your bots to double-check its forecasts and comments:

#### Migration

Existing bot owners will be contacted shortly for migrating their existing bots to a human account. If you run a bot and don’t receive an email in the next couple of days, please reach out in the comments below or to [sylvain@metaculus.com](mailto:sylvain@metaculus.com).
