Hello Metaculites!

It’s time for the December Metaculus Meetup! This is an opportunity to meet your fellow Metaculites virtually. There is no set agenda, but if the conversation runs dry, I’ll be preparing a few forecasting related questions and activities. If you have any ideas for backup activities, please post them in the comments!

If you’d like to participate, please go to this [Doodle poll](https://doodle.com/poll/qxvu675ibxi7ye8s?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link) and vote on when you’d like the meetup to occur. **Please vote by [midnight on December 10th](https://www.webcountdown.net/?a=6H5dAEr), and I’ll announce the date December 11th.** Since I’m hosting it, I’ve centered it around my time zone (US Mountain Time). If none of these times work for you, don’t despair! I realize a lot of the Metaculus community isn’t in the US, so going forward I’ll be thinking about ways to make this more inclusive to our friends in other locales.

Fifteen minutes before the meetup, I’ll post a link to a video conferencing service that you can click to join. This will likely be [Jitsi](https://jitsi.org/), but if many people RSVP we might need to switch to another platform that’s better for large groups. I will announce the video conferencing service on the same day that I announce the date and time of the meetup.

I hope to see you there!
