Will Hillary Clinton run for the office of President of the United States in 2020?
Hillary Rodham Clinton, former First Lady of the United States and former Secretary of State, was a candidate for President of the United States in 2008 and 2016.
In 2008, she failed to win the Democratic Party's nomination and subsequently endorsed then-Senator Barack Obama, who went on to win the Presidency. In 2016, she won the nomination of the Democratic Party and selected then-Senator (and former Governor of Virginia) Tim Kaine as her running mate in the Presidential Election. She won the popular vote, but lost the Electoral College to Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Since her loss in 2016, Clinton has publicly denied, on multiple occasions, any plans to run for federal office in the future. However, in October 2018, Clinton admitted 'I'd like to be President' when pushed on the matter by a journalist.

Metaculus help: Community Stats
Use the community stats to get a better sense of the community consensus (or lack thereof) for this question. Sometimes people have wildly different ideas about the likely outcomes, and sometimes people are in close agreement. There are even times when the community seems very certain of uncertainty, like when everyone agrees that event is only 50% likely to happen.
When you make a prediction, check the community stats to see where you land. If your prediction is an outlier, might there be something you're overlooking that others have seen? Or do you have special insight that others are lacking? Either way, it might be a good idea to join the discussion in the comments.
