There is intense interest in Tesla's Model 3 (originally the "Model E", perhaps for Energy or to go between "S" and "X"). Their fourth production vehicle, it is slated to cost of order $35,000 USD and move Tesla out of the somewhat niche market required by the model S and X's price tags.
Tesla has now scheduled a March 31 "unveiling" of the Model 3. There is varying speculation on whether or not Tesla will unveil a full scale Model 3 prototype, or just pictures.
Will Tesla exhibit a full prototype of the Model E at the event, in the form of a physical car with an operating electrical system?
A non-functioning chassis, photos, holograms, or virtual reality do not qualify.
