According to estimates by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) (2017), an estimated 70.95 billion poultry were slaughtered in 2017. The term poultry is taken to mean domesticated avian species that can be raised for eggs, meat and/or feathers (FAO, 2019).

This question will resolve based FAO estimates of the number total poultry produced/slaughtered in the calendar year 2030. The relevant data is generated by the following query:
